Hi, I’m Brent Stolz and I recently joined TSF as a Territory Manager. As some of you already know, I have been in the flooring business for quite a while and may have worked with some of you in the past. I have experience selling carpet cushion, carpet, sheet vinyl, and luxury vinyl planks and tiles for a manufacturer, to distributors and also in the retail store setting. In my short time at TSF, my eyes have been opened to how valuable it is to do business through distribution.
My first impression of the team at Tri-State was great! The professionalism, experience, and passion displayed by everyone has made me excited to be a part of the organization. My co-workers care about getting customers what they need to be successful, and doing it in the most efficient way possible. As with anything, things don’t always run as smoothly as we want, but when push comes to shove, I’ve seen the team put forth maximum effort make things happen in a pinch. You don’t get that from the mega suppliers.
With the crazy disruptions amongst both overseas supply chains and United States-based delivery companies, receiving product is a challenge for everyone. Big guys and little guys alike are struggling to fulfill demand. To combat this, Tri-State buys containers of hard surface flooring and also has access to backup stock in U.S. warehouses. Buying containers gets us the most competitive pricing, which we pass onto you, our dealers. This makes you competitive against any supplier in the market.
Tri-State has an incredible amount of hard surface products and we stock a lot of options! The benefit for you is that if one product is on backorder, we have many other great options in stock to switch to in order to meet your customers’ deadlines. The versatility you get from distribution means more products to choose from AND more reason to buy from TSF!
Let’s talk freight. At Tri-State, we have our own fleet of trucks that deliver to most of the states we supply. For customers in locations that our trucks don’t deliver to, we have solidified relationships with trusted freight companies to keep our delivery programs consistent and competitively priced. This is a huge deal. MCKI01 When I was working for another company, all our pallet goods were shipped via common carrier on every single order. Customers never knew when they would receive their orders and the goods were often damaged during shipping. When a company has its own trucks and drivers or good freight partners, product gets delivered consistently and in good shape. As a dealer, knowing your product is going to arrive in a timely manner and undamaged is crucial. TSF gives an added bonus by lowering your freight cost when you buy more at one time. Ask your Territory Manager or Customer Support how you can qualify for freight savings.
What dealers need most in a supplier is someone who is available and can answer questions when they call, offer multiple product options, purchase wholesale products at competitive prices and know what to expect when it comes to delivery. TSF is able to check all of those boxes and we’re grateful to partner with you. We strive to meet, if not exceed, our customers’ expectations every day. Our part in the success in your business is to simplify the process in supplying your store. We’ll do whatever we can to make sure you receive the best service and goods possible. We genuinely appreciate every single store and order you send our way and enjoy building a strong, long-lasting partnership with each of you.
