There is no doubt that things are tough right now. Fuel costs are up, raw materials are skyrocketing, and your stores have been slammed with a non-stop barrage of price increases and backorders. Unfortunately, these things look like they may continue for the remainder of this year. It would be really easy to be negative and have a terrible outlook for this year. However, our very own Sara Zacharias was recently quoted in an article by the National Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD) and I think she gave some great advice and I wanted to share it with you.
Looking ahead, despite the ongoing economic challenges, Zacharias says she is optimistic at Tri-State’s near-future prospects. She concluded, “No matter what, there is always a way to go out and grow whether it’s growing your sales or just personal development. It’s going to be a challenging year. But if we learned anything from COVID, it’s that nothing is guaranteed and everything can change tomorrow. Always look for opportunities to grow. I choose to be optimistic, because there is always opportunity.”
